This 2 bedroom, loft, 1.5 bath fully furnished home is nestled in one of Drummond Islands best kept secret locations! Very close to ORV/ATV trails. 10 acres of private land and little to no traffic give freedom and feelings of peace and relaxation. You won't find more beautiful and interesting terrain. This bountiful property offers many natural herbs, fruits, and vegetables from morel mushrooms and ramps to strawberries,raspberries and grapes, if you know where to look.
The location is very private ,as mentioned, and very quiet. sits on the edge of small Miller Lake.
The 30 year old home has a mostly open floor plan with cathedral ceiling.
The loft offers one King bed in the dormer,2 full beds on the landing, sharing a half bathroom.
The main floor consists of one bedroom with Queen bed and 2 Child's portable cribs in closet, spacious living room, kitchen with modern appliances, and a large bathroom with washer/dryer, tub/shower. Out of the front door is a large deck with a 24" 'dock', although the water recedes in the summer. A cement patio is at the entrance.
Sit on the patio or by the firepit and listen to nature and gaze at the stars. Noise and light pollution will not be an issue here.
The rental comes with at least 2 kayaks and pfd's to use on Miller Lake or can be transported to other inland lakes if you have the capabilities.
Lawn furniture, Wireless internet, new beds,Tvs in every room, and a charcoal grill
You will be supplied bed and bath linens.
Also supplied are: filtered water in refillable pitcher, hand soap, dish soap, sponge, one roll of paper towel and 3 rolls of toilet paper,just incase you forget yours!
Smoke/ carbon monoxide alarms, fire extinguisher, first aid supplies in home as well.

Summary: A group of us went up to sxs for the weekend and this rental was perfect! Clean, lots of space both outside and inside, the host was wonderful and prompt with responses. We would defiantly stay there again

Summary: This property was exactly as described. We had a party of 6 staying and there was nore than enough space for everyone. The cabin was clean and tucked away in the woods. The inside was clean and super homey. The property owner was great and quick to respond to any inquiry we had. We will be back. This place is amazing.

Summary: Since we did not have much luck finding morels, we searched for pudding stones. Then we actually spotted the large ships and barges, so my daughter found information about them online. The web site explained what they were carrying, where they were heading from and going towards. Very interesting to know the ships travel through going to so many various destinations!

Summary: When staying in an VRBO you’d expect cleanliness and that was not the case. There were cobwebs on the walls, ants everywhere, including on the countertops and even got into some of our food. I don’t understand the point of a cleaning fee when the home is not clean.

Summary: Nice rustic setting in the woods on a small lake. Cottage was stocked with everything we needed. Bathroom was clean and updated. Huge king size bed with great TV set up plus multiple double beds. We spent most of our days exploring the island with our jeep and the trails were conveniently close to the property. The mosquitos were carnivorous. Bring tons of bug spray and maybe a flame thrower. Other than the bugs it was a fabulous trip and would definitely recommend the property.
